To all my friends, whether you like Swing or not, I want to give a heads-up on Waterfire this weekend. They get "fewer and farther between."

There will be a Waterfire Swing Dance this Saturday, August 23 with Eight to the Bar! Dancing from 7:30 to 1:00 am!


The Beginner/Intermediate lesson will be from 6:30 to 7:20 pm (this is the official time according to the Waterfire coordinator, contrary to conflicting times at the Waterfire.org site and in the newspaper).

Then Joe Perrone's Fabulous Hepcat Dancers will perform. If you miss the 7:20 performance, you can see it again at around 10 pm.

The dancing will continue between band breaks with the music of DJ Swing Daddy.
Our new mayor will also make an appearance!
